Parents Association

Who are the parents association?  We are a group of parents whose children are pupils of Naíscoil Íde, representing Junior Infants, Senior Infants and First Class. The Parent's Association run activities throughout the year to support and fundraise for the school. These activities include Santa with gifts at Christmas, Art Exhibition, Annual Bag Pack and Social evening.

The elected committee consists of the following people:
Sharon Carrabin and Corinna Flood - Chairperson
Caitriona Stenson and Anja Byrne  - Secretary
Donall McElwee - Treasurer

We support the National Parents’ Council’s Aim which is:
To improve and enrich the education of children and to support the involvement of parents in their education.

The National Parents Council also believes that:
Parents are the primary educators of their children and it is therefore important to establish an active partnership between parents and the school. It is also important for parents and teachers to work together for the benefit of children.
