We started the week by designing little houses for leprechauns as part of our STEM activities. Take a look at the designs below... they include portals, rainbow shooters, gold collectors, secret compartments, body scanners and face recognition to name but a few of the very creative features.. what more could a modern day leprechaun want?!

Science Week
We had great fun during Science Week conducting experiments and designing and building a bed fit for a princess!
Our Trip to the Library!
We really enjoyed our visit to Raheny Library. Jonathon the librarian explained how the library works and then let us explore all the facilities. We got to browse the shelves, colour, read some books and even look at the iPads! Thanks to Annabel for coming with us on the day. We can't wait to go back!
Maths Week
We had great fun during Maths Week this week.
Our Trip to Saint Anne's
We really enjoyed our visit to the excavation site in Saint Anne's. Kerrie our guide showed us the plans of the old house and we got to see some of the artefacts recovered by the archaeologists. We even got to see a goniatite fossil that is 360 million years old! Ted really enjoyed the trip too. Many thanks to Annabel and Donna for coming along with us.
