Christmas Tree Lights

We were so proud to be represented by some of our amazing First Class singers at the lighting of the Raheny Christmas Tree. What a fun event to be part of! Many thanks to all the children who volunteered to sing, but unfortunately we were restricted to just six. 

Garda Band visits Naíscoil Íde!

What a fun and memorable day we had, when the Garda Band paid us a visit last Thursday. The whole school were entertained by the band performing many familiar tunes and we lucky to be shown the different instruments too. There were even some budding musicians and pop stars chosen from the audience to perform with the band! The visit ended with the whole school singing Heads, Shoulders Knees and Toes together. A first for Naíscoil Íde! Many thanks to all involved!

Operation Hope

There was great excitement when all the presents for the 'Shoe Box Appeal' were collected. Many thanks to all involved.

Science Week 2024

​There are lots of fun activities happening in Naíscoil Íde this week during one of our favourite weeks of the year! We are all practising our scientific skills and having fun conducting experiments and testing out our design and build projects! A Special Thanks to Our P.A.!

A special thanks to all the parents for contributing to the Wizards and Witches Walk. The Parents Association put the money to great use and were very busy over the midterm planting the planters in the First Class yard, and tidying up around the place.

Hallowe'en

Hallowe'en is always a fun time in Naíscoil Íde with our annual pumpkin display and our Wizards and Witches Walk. The rain on Friday meant we couldn't venture outside but we were all delighted to be invited to walk through Scoil Áine and Scoil Assaim instead. The Senior Boys and Senior Girls made sure that it was a memorable event for everyone, and they all came out to cheer us on.

Maths Week

Friendship Week​

There were lots of activities to enjoy during Friendship Week!  The children loved visiting other classes and making new friends. We all learned what it is to be a good friend and learned a new song which we sang together at assembly. There was even a poster and colouring competition. Welcome Back to All!

It was a great first day back to school- despite the rain. The children were all delighted to be reunited with their friends, and everyone settled quickly back into the school routine. Many thanks to our Parents Association for putting on a superb coffee morning to welcome the parents of our new Junior Infants.
