Fun and Games to Celebrate the End of Year!​

What a fast year this was! The children enjoyed lots of fun activities to celebrate the end of year. Some classes went to the library, some to the City Farm, others had Teddy Bear Picnics and competed in a mini Olympics! Take a look...

First Class Graduation!

The First Class children put on a tremendous show for their parents today and celebrated the end of their three years in Naíscoil Íde in style, with a Teddy Bears' Picnic, and a well earned ice-cream! Parents and staff watched with pride as the children sang their hearts out and recited poems to a packed hall. Take a look at some of the photos below...(more to follow!)

A Visit from Sam!

There was great excitement last week when the Sam Maguire made a return visit to school! It was not the first time our lucky boys and girls got to see the most coveted cup first hand, and by all accounts, it won't be the last! Many thanks to Ciarán, our GAA coach for organising the visit and to our PA for their involvement. There were a lot of happy fans around! 

Active Schools Week 2024!​

What a fun week we had in Naíscoil Íde!! From dancing to yoga, athletics, football, soccer, obstacle courses, novelty races and let's not forget the inflatables!! There was something for everyone! It would not have been possible without the support from our local sports clubs. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Raheny Shamrocks, Raheny United and Raheny GAA for volunteering their time and expertise to make Active Schools Week 2024 such a success! Thank you from everyone in Naíscoil Íde!

​Art Exhibition 2024!​

We were delighted to host this year's Art Exhibition in the School Hall this week. Many thanks to our Parents Association, Madeleine and Graeme for all their help in making it such a great success, and of course to all the pupils and teachers for such an array of Artwork and creativity!

Lá Glas 2024!

Green was the colour of the day as Naíscoil íde marked the end of Seachtain na Gaeilge and the start of the Saint Patrick's Day celebrations! From art work, singing and dancing there was lots of fun and games going on throughout the school!

World Book Day 2024!

We had a fantastic time celebrating World Book Day in Naíscoil íde this year! We were delighted that some of our past pupils from Scoil Assaim came to read to our First Class children. The children all enjoyed the many activities that took part throughout the school and we were all so impressed with the fabulous costumes! Take a look at some of the photos below!

Grandparents' Day 2024

​Many thanks to all the Grandparents who  were able to visit the school to celebrate Grandparents' Day. 
The children were delighted! They really enjoyed showing off their artwork and their classrooms to their very special visitors!
